Most 100-amp to 200-amp panel upgrades in West Kelowna land in the $3,000-$6,000 range including permit and inspection – ballpark, subject to your service type, mast and grounding. Some homes don’t need the upgrade at all: with a load calculation and modern load management, a 200-amp service can often carry an EV charger, heat pump and hot tub that would look impossible on paper.
When a panel upgrade is actually needed

If demand pencils out high, an energy management system (EVEMS) can shed the EV charger or hot tub for the few minutes the oven and dryer peak together – keeping your existing service and saving you the cost of a BC Hydro service upgrade entirely. We do this math before recommending anything.
