Those are our actual rates, published, because guessing games waste everyone’s time. Across BC, licensed electricians typically charge $80–$150/hour depending on region and overhead.

- Service call: $185.50 flat (covers up to 2 hours) — troubleshooting, small repairs, single-fixture swaps
- Hourly labour: $125/hour
- Half day (4 hours): $500
- Full day (8 hours): $1,000 — multi-day projects billed per day
- Attic / premium-access work: $156.25/hour (tight crawlspaces and attics are slower, hotter work)
- Hot tub and specialty wiring: $150/hour — a standard tie-in is usually a half day
Materials are billed at supply cost plus a standard markup, with 5% GST on labour and GST+PST on materials. Permits and Technical Safety BC inspections are handled by us and included in the quote.

Free in-person estimates get baked into everyone’s prices — somebody pays for that drive time, and it’s usually you. Send photos of your panel and the work area through our contact page and you’ll usually have a ballpark the same day. It keeps our overhead down and your price honest. For larger projects (roughly $2,000+ or multi-day), we’ll come walk the site.
What affects the price
Access (attic vs open basement), the age of the home and its wiring, panel capacity, whether walls are open, and how far the run is. A clear photo tells us most of that in thirty seconds.
