Why Pfitztech and not an AV company — or another electrician?
AV integrators can’t pull electrical permits. Electricians hand off the controls. Pfitztech is both on one licence: an FSR-B licensed electrical contractor and a certified dealer for Josh.ai, Lutron RadioRA 3 and Sivoia QS shades, running enterprise Ubiquiti UniFi networks. When your care plan includes an electrical safety inspection, it’s a real one — permits and inspections through Technical Safety BC.

What do you actually monitor?
Your network core, every access point, switch, camera and connected device on the system we installed. We see outages, degraded WiFi, offline cameras and failing hardware — usually before you do.
My system wasn’t installed by Pfitztech. Can I still join?
Yes — after a one-time system assessment and onboarding, quoted from photos of your rack and panel like all our work. Most systems onboard for $500–$1,500 depending on condition.
What counts as an emergency?
No power to part of the home, network down, cameras down, or any electrical safety concern. Estate members call one number, day or night.
What’s not included?
New equipment, major additions, and damage from outside causes (lightning, floods, renovations by others) — those are quoted separately, at your member discount.
Can I cancel?
Anytime, effective end of the billing month. No contracts, no cancellation fees.
