Your whole home, working as one — designed in from day one.
Lighting that knows the time of day. Shades that move on their own. A network that never drops. Glass that turns private at a touch. Pfitztech designs and installs the complete system behind a truly smart home — one certified partner, not five trades pointing at each other.

Each of these stands on its own — add one to a home you already love, or combine all four on a new build. The difference is that we design them to talk to each other from the very first drawing.

- Every run Fluke-certified and tested
- Snap One, Ubiquiti & Sonos Pro
Smart glass — clear to private at a touch

- Glass Apps PDLC switchable glass & film
- Privacy on demand, no blinds needed

Josh.ai — a home that runs itself

- One natural interface for the whole home
- Private by design
The whole system, designed together.
Most homes end up with lighting from one trade, network from another, AV from a third, and nothing quite talking to each other. The result is a house full of apps instead of a home that just works. When Pfitztech is brought in at the design stage, all four systems are planned as one — so the rough-in is right, the budget is real from day one, and the finished home feels effortless.
One point of contact
One partner accountable for everything low-voltage and automated — no finger-pointing between trades.
Designed in, not bolted on
Planned from the first drawing, so wiring, keypads and equipment locations are right the first time.
Future-proofed
A wired backbone and AI-ready infrastructure that still makes sense in ten years.
Dealer-credentialed, certified, and genuinely smart-home fluent.
A lot of contractors will run wire. Far fewer are factory-certified on the systems that carry a luxury home — and fewer still can test what they install and prove it works. Pfitztech is a licensed BC electrical contractor, BBB Accredited, with the credentials to back every line we design:
Designed in from rough-in — no surprises at finish.
Consultation
We sit down with you — and your designer or builder — to understand how you actually want to live in the home.
Design
We plan all four systems together and hand your team a clear scope, so the budget is real from day one.
Rough-in
Wiring, backboxes and equipment locations done right while the walls are open — the part you can’t fix later.
Finish & handoff
Devices in, system programmed, every run tested, and a walkthrough so you actually know how to use it.
A low-voltage & automation partner who makes your project look effortless.
If you design or build luxury homes in the Okanagan, Pfitztech works as your named electrical, data and automation partner — designed in from the drawing stage, finish-quality on site, and fluent enough to talk scenes and aesthetics, not just wire. We keep a one-page scope sheet your studio can drop straight into a proposal.
Straight answers.
Do I have to do all four systems at once?
No. Each one stands on its own — plenty of clients start with Lutron lighting or switchable glass and add the rest later. If you’re building or doing a full renovation, though, designing them together from the start is the better value and the cleaner result.
We’re renovating, not building new. Can you still help?
Yes. A lot of our smart-home work is retrofit — Lutron and switchable glass in particular go into existing homes well. The sooner we’re involved in the renovation, the more we can design in rather than work around.
Why one company instead of separate specialists?
Because the systems have to talk to each other. When lighting, network, AV, glass and automation are split across trades, no one owns how they work together — and the homeowner ends up managing the gaps. One certified partner means one plan, one point of contact, and one person accountable for the finished result.
What does it cost?
It depends entirely on the home and which systems you want. We provide a clear written quote after a consultation and site review — no guesswork, no surprises.
Do you work with our designer or builder?
Gladly — in fact we prefer it. We work as the named low-voltage and automation partner on many luxury projects and keep a scope sheet designers and builders can build straight into their plans.
