Where can an Edge Rack go?
Most offices, closets, utility rooms and basements work. The assessment checks space, ventilation, power and network before anything is ordered.
Is it electrically approved?
Yes. On-site builds use certified components and are installed to code under a Technical Safety BC permit.
Do we own it?
Yes. You own the hardware; management is a monthly service.
Why not just use the cloud?
The cloud is great for some things. Private infrastructure wins when your data is sensitive, you want predictable costs, or you need AI to keep working when the internet doesn’t.
Is an Edge Rack noisy?
Sealed cabinets with managed airflow are far quieter than open server racks. The assessment picks a location and cooling to suit the room.
How long does a build take?
It depends on the size and the site. The assessment ends with a written schedule. Rack and room builds are usually the quickest; containers need shop time, testing and delivery.
Can you work with our existing IT team or provider?
Yes. Pfitztech designs, builds and monitors the infrastructure and works alongside your IT team or provider. You keep full admin access.
