Your Edge system is yours. This page explains, in plain language, who can reach it, how we manage it, and what happens if something goes wrong — including if Pfitztech is ever gone.
Who can access your system and when
You decide. Your team holds the admin accounts. Pfitztech only connects for work covered by your service agreement or when you ask us to, using named accounts that you can see and switch off. We do not look through your files or your AI’s conversations.
How remote management works
Your system makes an encrypted, outbound-only connection to our monitoring tools. Nothing is opened inbound to the internet. Management actions are logged so you can see who did what and when. We work alongside your own IT team if you have one.
Backups and updates
Backups run on a schedule you agree to, with at least one copy kept separate from the main system. Security updates are tested and applied in a maintenance window you approve. Larger upgrades are planned with you first.
Monitoring and response tiers
Every system is monitored 24/7 for power, temperature, humidity, leaks, doors, network and hardware health.
- Standard — alerts are handled during business hours, with after-hours escalation for critical faults such as power or cooling loss.
- Priority — extended hours coverage and faster escalation to a technician, including on-site attendance where we can reach you.

If Pfitztech is ever gone
You own the hardware. At handover you receive full admin credentials and complete system documentation — network layout, configurations, backups and how to restore them — so any qualified team can take over.
Electrical approval
On-site builds (Edge Rack, Edge Room) are installed to code under a Technical Safety BC permit using certified components. Shipped units (Edge Can) are field-evaluated to CSA SPE-1000 by an accredited inspection body before delivery.
