This is Pfitztech Contracting Ltd.’s privacy policy in plain language. It explains what personal information we collect through this website and our enquiry forms, why, where it is kept, for how long, and how to see, correct or delete it. We follow British Columbia’s Personal Information Protection Act (PIPA) and, where it applies, the federal Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA).

What we collect
- What you type into our forms: name, organization, email, phone, site location and your message, plus anything you choose to tell us about your project.
- Readiness quiz answers — only if you send them. The quiz runs in your browser. Your answers are not sent or saved unless you click “Use this in my enquiry” and then submit the form.
- The page you sent the form from, so we know which service you asked about.
- Standard website analytics. We use Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager to count visits and see which pages are useful, and a Google Ads conversion tag to measure whether our ads lead to enquiries. These tools use cookies and collect things like pages viewed, device and browser type, and approximate location. They do not give us your name.
Why we collect it
To answer your enquiry, prepare an assessment or quote, deliver and support work you ask for, keep business and tax records, and understand how the website is used so we can improve it. We do not sell your information.
Where it is stored
Form submissions are stored in our website’s database with our web host (Kinsta) and sent to our business email (Gmail). If you become a client, your information is also kept in our accounting and client records. Some of our service providers, including Google and our web host, may store or process information outside Canada, where it may be subject to the laws of that country.
How long we keep it
- Enquiries are kept for 2 years after our last contact with you, unless you become a client.
- Client records are kept for as long as tax and business law requires.
Your rights
You can ask to see the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, withdraw your consent, or ask us to delete it (unless we are legally required to keep it). We will respond within the time PIPA allows (generally 30 business days).
